Dental implant steps
Initial assessment: The mouth is examined to ensure the health of the gums and bones. An X-ray or CT scan is performed to determine the bone density and the best location for the implant. Implant surgery: The implant (usually made of titanium) is inserted into the jawbone through a minor surgery. The bone then needs to fuse with the implant over a period of 3 to 6 months. Bone healing: Wait for the implant to fuse with the bone (a process called “osseointegration”). Dental implant placement: After ensuring the stability of the implant, an abutment and then a crown or bridge are placed over the implant, so that the person can use it like any natural tooth.

Provides a natural appearance and function similar to original teeth. Long lasting, and can last a lifetime if properly cared for. Helps maintain bone health and prevent jawbone erosion. Prevents adjacent teeth from shifting or crooked.
